The BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt was established on June 22, 1970, on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Herbert Quandt and in recognition of his services to BMW AG. In accordance with section 2 of its statutes, the Foundation exclusively and directly pursues non-profit goals. BMW AG, as the Foundation's sponsor, and the statutory organs of the BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt, consider the independence of the Foundation to be a prerequisite for its credibility as a sociopolitical actor. The BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt uses its funds primarily to carry out its own programs. The Foundation also enters into operational sponsoring partnerships provided that the partners' projects contribute to the Foundation's goals in an outstanding and exemplary manner.

Flying Kites is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the world’s orphaned children to become leaders of their generation. The dynamic organization has created an orphanage in Kenya where children receive outstanding care and a world-class education. Through an emphasis on advocacy, service, compassion, and excellence, children who have suffered as the result of a broken system are given the tools to fix it.

International Cultural Alliance-India (ICA) is an international non profit organization committed to the promotion of intercultural education, cross cultural learning and international youth mobility. The organization aims to the promotion of international peace and understanding through exchange programs and international volunteer work. ICA supports and participates in local development and organizes various awareness programs on HIV / AIDS, human rights, and labor and women rights. ICA also organizes training seminars and workshops for local youths, disabled and women.
